Mike was the second overseas member to become a Registrar.
Mike is Registrar for the first Lotus single seater to be completed, the Lotus 12, which started life as a Formula 2 car but took part in Formula 1 races from 1958 in the hands of Cliff Allison and Graham Hill. Mike owns Graham's old car #353, one of two cars used in Lotus' first GP entry at Monaco 1958, which he has lovingly restored.
