Membership of the
Historic Lotus Register
Membership Information
Membership
applications are invited from owners of historic Lotus cars and
from enthusiasts interested in their history and preservation.
Car ownership is not a condition of membership, and owners
of cars not currently covered by the HLR are welcome to join.
The
"Historic Lotus" magazine is issued to all members
four times a year and includes information on the early
days of the Lotus Engineering Company, technical articles, and
reports of historical research, discoveries and events of interest
to members.
In
addition to opportunities to gather at or participate in various
historic motor sport events and shows, an annual meeting is organized
in conjunction with a dinner at a location as central as possible
to the majority of members.
Subscription
rate
UK
residents £20. Overseas residents £25. Two
year subscriptions have been discontinued. The additional
cost to overseas members is due to the cost of magazine postage,
and the transaction charge on credit card payments.
Payment
options - UK Bank account
If
you have a
UK bank account we prefer you to pay by Standing Order.
This has the advantage that you will not forget to renew
your subscription. You may cancel the agreement at any
time, and we will remind you in good time before it is due so
that you may cancel if you wish.
Failing
that, payment by cheque is quite acceptable, made payable to
the Historic Lotus Register. You can print a form to apply
for, or renew your, membership when you answer the questions
below.
Payment
options - Overseas resident without a UK Bank account
If
you live overseas and do not have a UK bank account (and this
will apply to most of you), we require payment by Credit Card.
This may be done online using the secure pages of this
website. The procedure is shown below. To do this
you do not need to have Internet access of your own, but need
a friend (or an Internet Cafe) where you can connect to the Internet.
If you have no credit card you can give the equivalent
money to a friend with a credit card and let him/her pay for
you.
If
you refuse to give your credit card details on the Internet you
may write to us with your card details, and we will write to
our bank for them to enter the information without it being shown
online.
You may prefer to pay by Bank Transfer. Our bank is NatWest plc. Our SWIFT/BIC number is NWBK GB 2L. Our IBAN number is GB12 NWBK 5241-3145-0024-79.
