Club Lotus Chairman Alan Morgan should be congratulated for organising an excellent day. HLR were very well
looked after and given a prime pitch near the race control building. Our members supported
this event in force with our stand being better supported than ever before. We were warned
that the 'track parade' would be limited to about 60 mph - at one point I was pulling 7,000
rpm (approx 120 mph) just to keep up with Alan in the 'works' pace car! Great fun. Posted on website 30th May

| Top in the Club Special Displays was the Historic Lotus Register's garage featuring imitation, period-style pumps, a Mk 6 and a 23 replica in for service, plus Elites, a Seven and a Europa. |
